We chose to host our wedding in the Columbus Museum of Art not only for its beautiful ambiance but also for the treasures it holds. We encourage you to take time during cocktail hour to explore the collections on display. Please remember that no food or drink may be carried into the exhibits. Visit the museum's website for more details on permanent and rotating exhibits, directions, and information on parking.
Our dinner theme is "Tuscan Tapas & Mediterranean Mezze." Tapas and mezze are regional names for "small plates." Rather than one entree, tapas and mezze allow for a wide variety of dishes in a meal. Many of our favorite restaurants feature tapas/mezze, which are growing in popularity amongst American "foodies." We are excited about the selection of Tuscan and Mediterranean "small plates" we have chosen to share with you!
We will host an open bar from 6:30pm-10:30pm. You may choose from a variety of soft drinks, beers, wines, and cocktails. We will also serve a signature cocktail: The Kreisosky. We created this recipe together, combining our favorite summer flavors into a beautiful, refreshing cocktail. We encourage guests 21 and over to try one!
Music and dancing are important to us—they're partially what brought us together! You can expect to be on the dance floor throughout the night, swinging to classic Jazz tunes, boogieing to "The Oldies," and jumping to today's hit songs. Make sure you bring comfortable shoes; we plan to be on the dance floor until midnight!
